About Me
My journey as a software engineer began with a fascination for the profound impact technology can have on people's lives, especially as I watched the rise of tech giants like GAFAM.
One of the highlights of my career has been the opportunity to build teams and products from the ground up. As CTO at Medoucine, a HealthTech startup, for five years, I built the platform from scratch, leading a Scrum team to deliver updates to production daily. Through this experience, I learned how software quality directly impacts delivery speed—prioritizing clean code and strong architecture allowed us to avoid technical debt and sustain rapid development. I also gained valuable insights into managing complexity through effective architectural choices, which was key to maintaining clarity and supporting long-term growth.
In my most recent role as CTO at Ticketac, an online french ticketing platform for cultural events, my primary challenge was to stabilize a platform struggling with bugs and reliability issues, while also advancing a roadmap that had become stagnant. I led efforts to fix critical bugs, implemented real-time monitoring for better visibility and reshaped the delivery process to be more aligned with DevOps principles. These improvements not only stabilized the system but also unlocked the team's ability to move forward with new features and innovations, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous progress.
Throughout these experiences, I’ve learned that it’s not just about maximizing output, shipping features and delivering on tasks but about creating meaningful outcomes that drive real value for users and the business. Working with startups has given me a builder’s mindset, one that sees every problem as an opportunity and every challenge as a stepping stone toward a more effective solution.
